Can’t please a picky eater? This sweet treat has a serving of fruit and a heap of cinnamon goodness that’s bound to have them reaching for another.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • 2 Tb. light corn syrup
  • 1 Tb. honey
  • 1 Tb. maple syrup
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • 2 11-inch flour tortillas

Directions:

    Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat.

    Add in the diced apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, ground cinnamon and brown sugar, stirring every few minutes, until the apples are slightly softened and caramelized, about 8 to 10 minutes.

    Transfer apple mixture to a bowl.

    Place one tortilla in the same skillet over medium-low heat, spreading the apple mixture on top of the tortilla. Top with remaining tortilla.

    Cook for 1 to 3 minutes or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 1 to 3 minutes or until the other tortilla is golden brown.
