  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ cup black beans
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ⅓ cup barbeque sauce
  • 2 Tb. brown sugar
  • 2 Tb. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

    Place the ground turkey in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook.

    Once the turkey is half-way done, add in the mushrooms.

    When the turkey is almost done, add in the chopped peppers and black beans

    Cook until the turkey is brown and the vegetables are soft.

    While everything is cooking, mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl to create the sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour the sauce mixture over the turkey and veggies.

    Simmer for 20 minutes over medium-low heat.

    Remove from heat and serve.
