Even when you don’t think you can handle it, you can with God. In this verse, Paul is speaking to the church of Corinth. They are being tempted by their surrounding culture to leave God behind and follow the idols everyone else is worshiping, like sexual immorality, gluttony and greed. Paul explains to them that there is no temptation we cannot endure with God.
God will provide you with not only endurance but also a way out. He offers us peace and escape from the temptations of this world for such a small price compared to what Jesus paid; obedience to Him and belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You just have to ask him to be there and He will.
We are called to be in this world but not of this world. Keep your eye not on the things around you, but the One above who gives you the strength to overcome.
