You know how social media likes to remind you of “this day years ago”? Sometimes it’s sweet nostalgia. Other times, you cringe at what you wore, what you said or who you were back then. David had his own version of those throwback moments—choices he wished he could undo, words he wished he could take back.

In Psalm 25:7, he’s not pretending they didn’t happen—he’s bringing them to God and asking for something better. “Lord, don’t remember me for my mistakes. Remember me through the lens of Your love.”

That’s what God does for you. He doesn’t scroll through your past, keeping score. His grace edits the reel—not with a shiny filter, but with forgiveness that wipes the slate clean. You’re not defined by your mess-ups or your rebellious chapters. You’re defined by His goodness and love.

So today, instead of dwelling on your bloopers, thank God for the grace that rewrites your story. You’re not who you were—you’re who He’s making you to be.
