Scripture
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV)

When bills pile up. When devastating news finds you. When your marriage is at its rockiest point. When you struggle to forgive and definitely can’t fathom forgetting. Are those the times you wonder if God is truly enough to see you through?

God never promised that following Him meant sailing on smooth waters. There are no guarantees that life will be perfect here on Earth. Sickness will come. Loss will come. Heartbreak will find us. When they arrive at your doorstep, do you find yourself turning to God or away from Him?

Being patient in affliction is not easy. God grants us the ability to find contentment in Him while braving the most difficult of life’s storms. Our circumstances will shift, but God will remain constant.

Lord, help us to walk in truth, remembering that your grace is enough. Your love is enough. Your compassion is enough. Your forgiveness is enough. Father, you are always enough!
