Scripture
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV)

With sin comes shame. Shame that can make us shrink away from God, afraid of His judgment. But the Bible says we can boldly approach God’s throne, covered by the forgiveness of Christ.

When God sent Jesus to earth, He was fully God and fully man. Jesus experienced every temptation we do. He knows the pain we face, the hardship of being in this world. Because of this, He does not condemn us for our sins. He empathizes. In all our imperfection, God calls us to His throne and blesses us with grace and love.

No matter what you have done, draw near to God in confidence. In your time of need, approach His throne and feel the love of Christ.
