There are better days ahead. We’re promised a Heaven where there is no more pain and suffering. We are confident we will be united with our Creator and know the glory of His name. It’s a day we all look forward to, and it’s a destination we’re all striving for. But what about our days left on Earth? What hope is there in this world we call home?
Through every trial and tribulation, God is with you. God is holding you by the hand, guiding you with His wise counsel toward the glory of heaven. When you roll out of bed tomorrow morning worrying about your big job interview, God will be standing right there, ready to deliver you from fear. When you roll out of bed 10 years down the road worrying about your newborn or your retirement plan, He will still be standing by your side, ready to hold you up when the weight of the world is on your shoulders. As you draw your final breath and set your eyes on Heaven, He will be with you, and you will finally be with Him.
We were never promised a life without hard times. In fact, we know as believers we are targets for the Devil’s vengeance. But what when he wages wars against us, our God remains at our side, provides us armor and guides us into battle with the wise counsel only a loving Father and Creator of the Universe can provide.
