Have you ever been lost inside the plans you’ve dreamed for your life that don’t meet up with reality?

The dreamy beach vacation you scrimped and saved for that got rained out.
God gave us the ability to dream big, set goals and provide ourselves with the means to accomplish them. Yet that doesn’t mean our goals always align with His intentions or timing. When we pray for signs from God to show us that we’re heading in the right direction, our circumstances can leave us wondering what in the world He’s doing and why something that felt blessed by Him seems shrouded in chaos.
God has not forgotten us even when life isn’t going in the direction we desire. Even when we may not see the path, He’s forging ahead. The funny thing is, God always works things out for His good. We’re the ones who lack vision and patience. Rather than balk when things falter, remember this: Maybe that promotion is stretching you to learn and grow as a leader in new ways. Perhaps that first date fell flat in the romance department because he’s perfect for your BFF. That rained-out vacation may have saved you from something unforeseen around the corner.
God will let you know when it’s time to meet Him in the middle of the chaos and follow Him in the right direction. Remember, He uses all things for the good of those who love Him. That includes ordering our days, planting us where He wants us to grow and providing divine appointments we never saw heading our way because our eyes were on ourselves, not on Him.
