Let’s be real—life doesn’t always play fair. You work hard for a promotion, but someone else gets it because they “know the right people.” Your child gets blamed for something they didn’t do. A friend ghosts you after you’ve poured your heart into the relationship. You walk away thinking, This isn’t right.
Lamentations 3:35 reminds us that God notices every moment when someone is treated unfairly. He’s not scrolling past our pain or shrugging it off like it’s “just life.” The verse is part of a bigger reminder that the Lord doesn’t approve of injustice—whether it’s in the workplace, in relationships or in the quiet corners of our lives where no one else seems to notice.
The hard part? God doesn’t always swoop in with an immediate fix. We want Him to pull out a holy gavel and set everything straight on the spot. But sometimes His justice works like a slow drip—steady, sure and building toward the moment when everything will be set right.
So, what do we do in the meantime? We keep showing up with integrity. We advocate for what’s right when we can. We pray for the courage to leave room for God’s timing instead of forcing our own version of justice. And we trust that the Most High sees and cares more than we can imagine.
Girlfriend, if something feels unfair right now, remember this: God’s justice is never late. And He hasn’t missed a thing.
