Scripture
“Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face.” Job 13:15 (NIV)

Job had every reason to give up. He lost everything—his family, his health, his home. He was in deep, physical pain and completely heartbroken. And yet, somehow, he still had hope in God. Not the kind of peaceful, patient hope we like to imagine, but a raw, desperate, I’m-not-letting-go kind of hope. Job didn’t walk away from God—he ran straight to Him, demanding answers, wrestling with the pain and refusing to believe that his suffering was meaningless.

Think about the hardest season you’ve been through—the one that left you questioning everything. Maybe it was the miscarriage after months of hopeful prayers. Maybe it was sitting in a doctor’s office, hearing the diagnosis you never saw coming. Maybe it was watching a relationship fall apart despite doing everything you could to hold it together. Maybe you felt abandoned, confused or just plain angry at God. It’s okay. Job felt all those things too. But instead of shutting down or turning away, he brought it all to God. That’s real faith—not pretending everything is fine, but choosing to trust even when you don’t understand.

So, what about you? Can you say, like Job, Even if everything falls apart, I will still hope in Him? It’s not easy, but God wants your honesty. He can handle your doubts, your frustrations and your heartbreaks. So today, don’t hold back. Pour it all out to Him—the fears, the questions, the pain. He’s listening. And even when life doesn’t make sense, He’s still holding you.
