Scripture
“How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.” 2 Samuel 7:22 (NIV)

David’s prayer to God is one of praise for what He has done. Throughout his life, God’s call to David was to fight the enemies of His people and establish a place of peace in the Promised Land. Here’s the thing: David chose God’s majesty and found peace in His purpose for his life no matter what he faced. From Goliath to the battlefield, he found comfort in the arms of God. Can we say the same?

We’ve all endured situations in our lives that seem impossible. Finding ways through them can feel confusing and even a little terrifying, like disaster may be waiting right around the corner no matter which way we head. That’s why it’s so great that we can turn to God for direction.

There is no problem too complex for Him to solve. There is no situation He can’t see from all angles. There is no mountain too high for Him to move out of our way. Our minds cannot begin to process or think as big as God can. We might think we have it all figured out, yet He’s excellent at taking charge and leading the way. All God’s waiting on is for us to ask for His help. When we put our trust in the One who can do the impossible, He makes all things possible.
