Ingredients:

  • 1.25 lbs. Lean ground turkey
  • 1 ½ cups packed fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 4 oz. crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 1 ½ Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • Mayonnaise, for serving
  • Cucumber slices, for serving
  • Thin red onion slices, for serving

    In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, chopped spinach, feta cheese, garlic, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and olive oil until combined.

    Divide into 4 equal portions (approximately 4 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick).

    Transfer to a parchment-lined plate and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for 20 minutes.

    Grill burgers for about 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until no longer pink and the juices run clear. Make sure an internal temperature of 165°F is reached on an instant-read thermometer.

    Serve on buns with mayonnaise, cucumber, red onions or make it your own with whatever toppings you’d like!
