When we think about the meat and potatoes of life, it boils down to making choices. Small decisions, life-altering ones and ones that we didn’t intend to deal with. Before moving forward, we usually weigh options and look at the evidence to make the most informed choice possible. Why rely solely on our small point of view when we can seek the counsel of our omnipotent and omniscient Heavenly Father?
Come with an open mind, a good attitude and be willing to gain perspective through a heavenly viewpoint. Seeking God’s knowledge isn’t for the faint of heart. There’s always a possibility you may not like His answer. Yet when we base our decisions on Godly principles and precepts based in scripture, it prepares us to consistently make wise choices.
Don’t forget, God has blessed us with the Holy Spirit, providing reassurance and peace that guide our steps. He will nudge us in the right direction if we tune in and listen.
Not all decisions end up how we want. Not all paths, even the ones prayed over, will be perfect. Yet wisdom is not attained by sitting on the sidelines. Knowledge comes by way of experiencing obedience and relying on God in all things.
