Scripture
“What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not:” 1 Corinthians 7:29 (NIV)

Have you ever watched sand slip through an hourglass? One could get lost watching the grains fall from top to bottom, forgetting how they mark the passage of time. And that’s time we cannot summon back into our lives. From seconds to hours, days to decades, no matter how much we watch the clock, the only moments we control are the ones we have right now. When time is gone, it’s gone for good.

The Bible tells us there is a time for every season. It also reminds us not to waste a moment. Genesis reveals what happened at the beginning while Revelation gives insight to the end. The framework of our lives is what we make of it. How we choose to spend the time God grants us reveals a lot to Him. How will you make the most of it before your last breath on earth?

Use your time wisely. It’s a gift not to be wasted. Take advantage of the million little moments and make a difference for Him in this world.
