There’s something sacred about friendship between women who love the Lord.
It’s the friend who drops off a coffee when she knows you’ve had a rough week. The one who prays for you when you can’t find the words yourself. The one who sends that perfectly timed text, reminding you that you are not alone.
Ecclesiastes reminds us that we’re not meant to do life on our own. God, in His wisdom, created us for community. He knew there would be days when we’d fall—emotionally, spiritually or even just from sheer exhaustion. And He gave us the gift of each other to help us support one another.
In the Body of Christ, female companionship isn’t just a blessing—it’s part of God’s design. We are stronger, wiser and more resilient when we walk together.
But let’s be honest. Friendship among women isn’t always easy. It takes intentionality, humility and grace. It takes choosing to show up for each other even when life gets busy, messy or hard.
Yet when we invest in these relationships—when we choose to encourage, forgive, pray and celebrate each other—we reflect the heart of Christ. We become living, breathing reminders of His love and care.
So today, pause and thank God for the women He’s placed in your life. The ones who laugh with you, cry with you, challenge you and point you back to Him.
And if you’re longing for that kind of companionship, don’t be afraid to take the first step. Invite someone in. Start small. Pray for God to build those connections that strengthen your faith and lighten your load.
Because two really are better than one, and sisterhood in Christ is one of His sweetest gifts.
