Have you ever felt called to do something but hesitated because you weren’t sure how it would all come together? Maybe it was starting a new ministry, hosting a Bible study or even helping a friend in crisis. The vision was clear, but the resources? Not so much.
Ezra knew that feeling, too. God had given him a big job—help restore worship in Jerusalem—but here’s what’s amazing: the resources didn’t just trickle in, they poured in. Through King Artaxerxes, God made sure Ezra had everything he needed. Silver, wheat, oil, wine and salt without limit. That last part gets me—salt without limit. God’s provision wasn’t just practical. It was generous.
And that same God is still providing today. You may not have a king writing decrees on your behalf, but you do have a Father in heaven who knows what you need before you ask. He sees your heart. He sees your to-do list. He sees the weight you’re carrying. And He is more than able to meet every need.
So the next time you feel that nudge to serve, give, start or go—don’t let fear stop you. You don’t have to figure it all out. Trust that if God has given you the assignment, He’ll also give you the means.
Today, take a step. Big or small. You serve a God who doesn’t just provide—He provides with no limit.
