Scripture
30Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31 (NIV)

Exhausted?

Things to do, places to go, people to see, emails to answer, projects to finish, dogs to walk—and that’s just before noon! The to-do lists we live by are enough to make anyone feel weary.

Now consider the boundless energy of children. They build block towers, color masterpieces, seamlessly go from pretending to be nurses to astronauts, run laps and play peekaboo all before the sun rises. They keep going and going and going…until they drop. Even the busiest of toddlers crash and run out of energy. Thank God for naptime, right?

At every age, our lives can swirl at a pace that’s hard to keep up with. Our energy can drain to a point where it’s hard to function. But God is a resource you can tap into anytime. He’s better than an energy drink and no cup of coffee can match His power. Jesus gets it, too. Even He took time to rest and call upon the Father to renew His strength.

When our burdens are at their heaviest, He promises to carry them and help you soar.
