Scripture
“Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” 1 Kings 18:37 (NIV)

What goal are you working toward today? Maybe it’s a metric at work. Maybe it’s a personal record in the gym. Whatever you’re committed to accomplishing, it’s important to you.

So, what if you made revival a goal? What if you spent precious time in prayer asking for renewal?

Maybe it’s revival in your family. Maybe it’s renewal in your own relationship with Christ. Wherever the spiritual fountain is running on empty, God can come and provide a new spring. But how do you tap into this healing power?

Prayer. Jeremiah is calling out to God: Answer me, answer me. They need You. I need You. He wants people to see the work God is doing in all of us. He wants to hear God’s voice and see His power at work.

When you walk into a room that feels absent of God’s presence, pray for His arrival. Pray for His Spirit to spring up inside the ones you love. Pray for your own renewal.
