How do you get to Heaven from here? There isn’t a shuttle bus or train that gets you there. Early Babylonians thought if they could seek out a tall enough tower, just past the cloud line, they’d make it to the pearly gates with no sweat. Surely an astronaut or two thought Heaven had to be just around the next bend as they jetted among the stars. There’s only one Way, one Truth and one Life that will get you there:
Jesus.
Jesus gave His life as a ransom for all. We can’t earn entry to Heaven based on anything we do in this lifetime. It’s all about what Jesus did. He made a pathway to God for us. Eternal life isn’t a maybe when you follow Jesus. You’re not on the waitlist—you’re already in. Scripture is clear that there aren’t half a dozen ways to live eternally. Just one. Thankfully, God provided the way for us through the life and mission of His Son.
Rather than “hope so” when it comes to salvation, wouldn’t it be better to “know so?”
