Let’s be honest—“maturity” in faith can sound a little intimidating. It might bring to mind someone who has all the answers, never messes up and prays with perfect words. But that’s not what Paul is talking about here.

Being fully mature in Christ doesn’t mean you’ve arrived at some flawless version of yourself. It means you’re still growing, still seeking and still showing up. It’s about being shaped by Jesus—bit by bit, day by day—as you lean into His wisdom and love.

That kind of growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, intention and a willingness to be taught and sometimes challenged. It comes through prayer when you’re tired, opening your Bible even when you’re distracted and choosing love when frustration feels easier. It’s in the quiet yeses, the small sacrifices and the way you care for others when no one’s watching.

And yes, life gets full. With work, family, obligations and noise—it’s easy for spiritual growth to get pushed to the side. But maturity in Christ is never about perfection. It’s about pursuit. It’s about keeping your heart soft, your ears open and your eyes fixed on Jesus.

So wherever you are in your faith—just starting or many years in—there’s still more ahead. More grace to receive, more truth to learn and more love to give. Keep growing. God isn’t finished with you yet.

You’re becoming exactly who He made you to be—mature, strong and beautifully His.
