You’ve probably had seasons where you just didn’t understand what God was doing. Times when you prayed and nothing changed. When you asked why and the silence felt louder than any answer. Job knew that place all too well.
But here in Job 42, something shifts. After everything—loss, grief, questions and finally hearing directly from God—Job doesn’t just get answers. He gets perspective. He says, “I had heard of You, but now I see You.” That’s more than spiritual clarity—it’s a whole new way of understanding who God is.
And then comes the beauty: God restores him. Not just spiritually, but physically, relationally and materially. It’s not a fairy-tale ending—it’s a reminder that God sees the whole story, even the chapters you’d rather skip.
You might be in the middle of a chapter that feels impossible. But take heart—restoration is part of God’s nature. You may not understand the why, but like Job, you can trust the Who. You can choose humility, lean into faith and believe that God’s purpose for you is not just good—it’s better than anything you could’ve written yourself.
So today, hold onto that hope. You may not see the full picture yet, but your story isn’t over. Let God do the restoring. Let Him turn what feels broken into something beautiful.
