When was the last time you just stopped and let yourself feel awe? Not stress. Not hurry. Not “what’s next.” Just wonder.
Maybe it was watching the sun crack through storm clouds after a brutal week. Or sitting in the quiet of your car after dropping the kids off, letting the silence speak more than the noise ever could. Or hearing a worship song hit just right at the end of a day that nearly broke you.
This little verse from Bildad—tucked in the middle of Job’s heavy story—offers a breath. A pause. He reminds us that God is not just powerful—He’s majestic. He holds dominion over everything. He brings order to chaos, beauty to brokenness and alignment to what feels completely out of control.
And if He can hang stars and shape galaxies, He can absolutely hold your life too.
You might not see it right now. Your inbox is overflowing, your kids are struggling, your prayer life feels flat and your plans aren’t lining up the way you hoped. But this verse invites you to zoom out. To lift your eyes and remember that your life isn’t random. It’s being held—wisely, lovingly—by a God who doesn’t improvise. He orchestrates.
So today, take that breath. Let awe wash over you again. Let it soften your heart and shift your focus. Look at your life not as something you have to fix or figure out, but as something God is shaping—moment by moment.
Let that awe give you courage to trust Him. To love deeply. To live boldly. Because your Creator is still creating something good in you—and it’s going to be beautiful.
