- The Book of Job takes us on a journey through suffering and lament—one that is extreme in every way. Join us as we explore the Book of Job chapter by chapter, and ask yourself what it might look like to continue to include God in all the wild seasons of your life. We’ll cover a new chapter every week, so read along!
Ever had one of those days where you scroll through your feed or look around at the world and think, “Seriously, God? Them? They get the promotion, the platform, the picture-perfect life… and I’m over here just trying to survive.”
You’re not alone—Job felt it too. He looked at the world and saw people doing all the wrong things and still thriving. And he didn’t pretend it made sense. He brought it straight to God, basically asking, What gives?
Here’s the thing: it’s okay to wrestle with the tension. To be confused. To ask the hard questions. God can handle it.
But don’t let what you see shake what you know—that true success, the kind that actually satisfies, doesn’t come from power or popularity or having everything go your way. It comes from staying close to God, even when the path feels unfair. It comes from knowing you’re playing the long game, where peace, purpose and eternity matter more than the spotlight.
So if today feels like the bad guys are winning and you’re stuck in the slow lane, take heart. This isn’t the final scene. God is still writing the story, and His justice may not always be on our timeline, but it’s always coming.
You’re not overlooked. You’re not forgotten. And you’re definitely not on the losing team.
