Scripture
“Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger.” Job 17:9 (NIV)

Job’s life was unraveling. Loss, suffering, betrayal—his world had been turned upside down. And yet, in the middle of his pain, he clung to one unshakable truth: the righteous will keep going. Those who hold fast to integrity, even when everything around them crumbles, will find their strength renewed.

Sister, when life gets hard, it’s tempting to wonder if doing the right thing even matters. When others seem to succeed by cutting corners, when honesty costs you something and when faithfulness feels exhausting, it’s easy to question whether staying true to your values is worth it. Maybe you’ve faced rejection for standing firm in your beliefs, or maybe you’ve watched someone else take the easy way out while you struggle to do what’s right.

But Job reminds us that integrity isn’t wasted. The ones who walk with clean hands don’t just survive—they grow stronger. Holding onto faith, even in hardship, isn’t a weakness. It’s endurance training for the soul. It looks like choosing honesty when no one’s watching—refusing to cut corners at work, even if it would make life easier. It’s speaking kindly about someone who hurt you instead of seeking revenge. It’s keeping a promise, even when breaking it would be more convenient. It’s standing firm in your faith when others dismiss it. These small, everyday choices may feel unnoticed, but they build the kind of strength that lasts—a strength rooted in God’s truth, not the world’s approval.

So, whatever you’re facing today, keep moving forward. Keep choosing honesty. Keep loving well. Keep trusting God. Because every step taken in righteousness builds a strength that will carry you through, leading you closer to the resilient, faith-filled woman that God is shaping you to be.
