Looked over for a promotion…again. Ghosted by a cute boy…again. The world tells us we aren’t special in a lot of different ways. It tells us to get in line, conform to the norm and maybe we’ll be chosen. But time and time again, the things we long for pass by in the blink of an eye, apparently not noticing us as we stand there waiting.
You were chosen for more. God looked down as you formed in your mother’s womb and said, “She is mine.” Not because of your success. Not because of your looks. Simply because He loved you and knew you had a purpose in this world.
So what happens when we live each day like we’re chosen? Will we stand up for ourselves and others who have been disadvantaged by the world’s systems? Will we guard our hearts and find comfort when we’re wounded by the ones we trust? What will change about our lives when we decide to walk confidently in the life God has given us?
God wants the best for you. He will turn stop lights green and clear the roadways to get you where you’re meant to be. He has chosen you for a very special purpose, and He wants to have a close relationship with you along the way. All you need to do is believe that you are chosen.
