Ingredients:
- 1 large can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- ¾ tsp. smoked paprika
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 425°F. -

Drain and rinse the chickpeas under cool water and lay them out on a paper towel to dry completely. -

Rub them gently between two towels to loosen the husks. Remove husks and discard them. -

Dry the chickpeas again after the husks have been removed. -

Toss the chickpeas in a bowl with olive oil and add paprika, chili powder, cayenne and garlic powder. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spices. -

Add the chickpeas to a sheet pan and spread them out in an even layer. -

Roast in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the chickpeas are crispy on the outside and dark golden brown. -

Let cool on the sheet pan and enjoy.
