We’ve heard this one before. It’s quoted often, maybe even printed on a mug or a journal cover. But have you ever stopped and let the rhythm of these words really sink in?

Ask.
Seek.
Knock.

Jesus isn’t giving us a magic formula here. He’s giving us an invitation—to come closer, to trust deeper and to engage with God like we believe He’s actually listening.

“Ask” reminds us that it’s okay to be honest with God. You can ask for help, for healing, for direction. Nothing is too small or too messy.

“Seek” tells us not to stop at asking. Look for Him in your ordinary—at the kitchen sink, in the doctor’s waiting room, on your afternoon walk. God shows up in the details when we’re paying attention.

“Knock” is about courage. It’s the bold step of approaching something that feels bigger than you—an opportunity, a decision, a place where you’re unsure what’s behind the door. Jesus says, Do it anyway. Knock. The door will open.

So today, where are you needing something from God?

Is it wisdom for a decision you’ve been sitting on? Peace in a home that’s felt tense? Joy in a season that’s felt dry?

Ask.
Seek.
Knock.

Not because you have to earn God’s attention—but because He’s already waiting, ready to meet you with love and respond in His perfect time.
