When we worship and praise God, He’s the center of our attention and our life. Guess who isn’t a big fan of our limitless devotion to Him?
If we aren’t praising God, we’re devoting ourselves elsewhere. The evil one loves when our focus shifts away from God and we become consumed with other things: the craziness of PTA, shifts in local and global leadership, or the one person who can’t seem to return your call. These distractions rob us of focused time with the Father, something the enemy revels in.
Let’s not give Satan anymore ammunition than he already has. Find renewed strength to battle problems and keep away from temptation by praising God morning, noon and night. The joy of the Lord is always our strength.
