For those busy days where all you can do is throw it in the oven, this pasta bake makes spaghetti quick and simple. Prepare it the night before, and bake it when ready!

Prep time: 8 hours (chill overnight)
Cook time: 50 minutes
Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • 7 oz. spaghetti (or your preferred short curved pasta)
  • 1 cup water
  • 28 oz. spaghetti sauce
  • 12 pre-cooked Italian meatballs
  • 2 Tb. shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tb. chopped parsley

Directions:

    Spray 12 x 8 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Combine uncooked spaghetti, water and spaghetti sauce into baking dish and mix well. Add meatballs and stir to coat. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.

    When ready to bake, place covered dish in the oven cold, then heat oven to 350°F. (Do not put a cold dish in a hot oven!) Cook for 45 minutes. Then uncover, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes or until casserole is bubbly and cheese is melted.

    Garnish with parsley, and serve!
