This slow cook recipe allows you to prep dinner early in the day, freeing you up to spend time with your kiddos. Simply throw the ingredients in at lunch, and break it out when it’s dinner time!

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 5 hours
Serves: 8

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 Tb. butter
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced
  • 1 package (10 oz.) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

    Put chicken, cream of chicken soup, onion and butter in a slow cooker. Add two cups of water or until covered and cook on high for five to six hours.

    Shred chicken in slowcooker. Half an hour before serving, tear biscuit dough into pieces and place in slow cooker. The smaller the pieces are, the faster they will cook. Let it cook until dough is no longer raw in the center.
