There’s nothing quite like crunching into crispy wonton. This quick and easy appetizer will satisfy all your cravings and bring the restaurant… to you!

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • ½ clove minced garlic
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 24 square wonton wrappers

Directions:

    Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

    In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, garlic, salt and onions.

    In a small bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.

    Place one teaspoon of cream cheese mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger into the egg and lightly coat the outer edges.

    Bring all the corners of the wonton together to the center and pinch. Slide your fingers on all sides at the top of the wrapper to make sure it’s fully sealed.

    Lightly spray the tops and sides of the wontons with olive oil spray. Place each wonton on its side on a foil-lined baking sheet.

    Bake for 5 minutes and then flip on the other side for an additional 5 minutes.

    Serve with your favorite dipping sauce right out of the oven.
