We’ll cover a new chapter every week, so read along!
Some days can feel like you just don’t know what to do. Like, you’re staring at a decision—big or small—and your brain is spinning in circles? Maybe it’s something big, like deciding whether to sell your home and start over. Or maybe it’s as simple as wondering if you should speak up in a friendship that feels different lately. Either way, we all have those moments where we wish we had a crystal-clear answer.
Job 12 reminds us exactly where to turn: God. He’s the source of all wisdom, power and understanding. And the crazy part is Job said this while his whole world was falling apart. If he could recognize God’s wisdom in the middle of suffering, how much more should we trust that God sees the bigger picture in our own lives?
But let’s be real—it’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else thinks. We Google things to death, ask five different friends for advice and scroll through social media hoping for some kind of sign. (You’re not the only one who overanalyzes everything.) And while wisdom from others isn’t bad, Job reminds us to go straight to the source—the One whose wisdom isn’t based on trends, opinions or temporary circumstances.
So today, take a deep breath. Whatever’s weighing on you, bring it to God first. His wisdom isn’t just good—it’s perfect. He sees what you can’t, He understands what you don’t and He’s already working things out in ways you can’t even imagine. Trust that. Lean into it. And let His wisdom be the voice that guides you.
