Scripture
“Then Jesus said to his disciples: ’Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?’” Luke 12:22-26 (NIV)

There are so many worries we hold onto in this life.

Will I be able to make my next car payment?

Will I get that big promotion?

Is my teenager hanging out with the right friends?

But some worries are even bigger than that. For example, if God knows everything you’ve done and all the mistakes you’ve made, can He change His mind about you? Will you be the exception to His grace?

The good news is that there is nothing you can ever do to make God love you less.

In this passage, Jesus highlights how dutifully God watches after the things that may not seem important to us, like birds or flowers. He tenderly cares and provides for them, so why wouldn’t He love and care for you so much more?
