Scripture
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16 (NIV)

They’ll think I’m a weirdo or a know-it-all; one of those Christians…

Have you ever had that internal conversation? You want to share your faith, but it feels like odd timing, or you worry you’ll be judged—or worse—unfriended.

You know those amazing jeans you bought and couldn’t wait to text your girlfriends about because they fit like a glove? That wasn’t hard to keep a secret. The best tacos ever can be found downtown at the food truck on Wednesdays at noon. You blasted that all over social media with photographic evidence. Why are you so shy when it comes to sharing Jesus?

If we don’t open our mouths and tell others what God has done in our lives, we are short-changing someone who may need to hear it. Whether it plants a seed or sprouts a conversation to share the Good News, we can’t control how sharing our faith will be received. Put that concern to the side and follow if the Spirit leads. What if fear kept you from giving someone the gift of eternal life? What if you had never heard about Jesus?

Pray for boldness. Pray that inhibitions be lifted and conversations come easily. Get to spreading the love of Jesus around like wildfire.
