History has provided many examples of revival, the power of God spreading waves of faith and overcoming multitudes of people with His Holy Spirit. Sometimes the beginnings of this contagious ripple can be hard to pinpoint. Yet the stirring of hearts is real. Craving for soul nourishment happens, and the changes this experience creates within are hard to escape.
Those who’ve encountered God for the first time or renewed their commitment of faith just seem different. They aren’t afraid to spread the Good News. Any opportunity to share how God’s Holy Spirit dwells in their hearts and has renewed their minds is welcomed.
If you feel your day-to-day faith needs a little something extra, begin with prayer. Request that God fill your heart with fire for Him that can never be extinguished. Attend a worship meeting, faith-filled conference, or enter into a time of earnest and focused prayer with your sisters in Christ. Ask God to give you an experience that you can’t stay quiet about. Pray that His spirit be instilled into the fabric of your soul and that the power of His love flows through you to such an extent that you can no longer remain silent.
