To once be blind and now see. Can you imagine what that must have been like for this man?
From the time of his birth, he only saw darkness. Although the miracle was right in front of them, the Pharisees refused to believe that a man who saw nothing could suddenly witness everything. He had to be faking. And that guy Jesus? A healer? In their eyes, there was no way this was legit. The man’s parents spoke on their son’s behalf and still the Pharisees refused to see.
Our God, who is divine and leaves us with awestruck wonder, has always been waiting to wipe away the film covering our spiritual eyes so we may truly see His everlasting love. The transformation from darkness to light. From being blind to God’s love then seeing it with our own eyes. From trading a life of selfish interests to follow a better path towards eternal life.
Perhaps you were caught up in a life that unraveled. Maybe you sought solace and comfort in the wrong places. We’ve all lost vision at one time or another. Now is the time to choose faith and see.
