When most people think of an introvert they think of a shy friend who doesn’t like to go out. However, introversion is a lot more than that, and in some cases doesn’t look like that at all. To understand the difference between extroverts and introverts we need to understand that it’s not necessarily a black-and-white difference between the two. Many psychiatrists refer to these personality types as a spectrum. This brings to light the idea that one introvert may have different social tendencies than another, and the same can go for extroverts.

We all have those days where we just don’t have enough energy. The feeling of fatigue can come from a variety of different things and often is because of some small things we’ve missed. In many regions of the country, people are spending more money on childcare than they are on housing or food for the entire family. Early childhood care and education sets each child up for development and learning. Moreover, affordable childcare promotes parental employment. If a child has nowhere to go, it can be difficult for a parent to take a day off when they have a job to get to.

When it comes to prioritizing your rest and recovery, there are multiple factors that can help improve the way you take care of yourself post-workout. Active rest recovery increases your blood circulation, improving soft tissue that’s been broken down by exercise. The blood flow delivers nutrients that help repair muscles, tendons and ligaments in the body. Practicing rest and recovery should happen in the hours post-workout to effectively get your body the nutrients and downtime it needs to keep up with the rest of your body.
